Changing a Participant's Hire Date

It may be necessary to change the hire date for one or more participants because of an input error or other circumstance. The Stock Option Admin (SOA Abbreviation for Stock Option Admin role) Read/Write, the HR Admin, and the HR with Exercises roles can perform this task.

  1. Click Participants and click the participant An individual or entity participating in an equity compensation plan and/or employee stock purchase plan record you need to change.
  2. Click the history icon History icon above the Hire Date field in the Status section.
  3. In the Status window, leave the status as active and select the correct hire date in the as of field.
  4. Click Save to save the record or Cancel to close the window without saving the record.
  5. In the ACTIONS dropdown menu, click ACTIONS > SAVE to save the settings and remain on the page, ACTIONS > SAVE & EXIT to save the settings and close the page, or ACTIONS > EXIT WITHOUT SAVING to close the page without saving the settings. You must also save here or the updated record is not saved.
  6. Repeat these steps to update other participants' hire dates.
